Help us build an inclusive school for Child Support Tanzania
Help us build the only centre of its kind within a 1,000 kilometre radius.
Child Support Tanzania tackles the multiple educational barriers faced by children with disabilities.
Can you help us to build a better future for Child Support Tanzania? We need to raise £35,000 by the end of February in order to complete the building of our first disabled accessible classroom block so that these children can enjoy the freedom to learn.
Having a disability in Tanzania doubles the likelihood of that child never attending school. Child Support Tanzania is an inspiring school to visit. In fact, it is the only centre of its kind within a 1000 mile radius!
CST provides inclusive pre-school education for children living in extreme poverty and those with disabilities or complex health needs. The children who go to CST are taught those crucial early learning skills that we know are so needed to succeed in a mainstream primary school and beyond.
Your donation will help us to:
- Build five accessible classrooms
- Provide six toilets including two wheelchair-accessible spaces
- Install sanitation facilities (a septic tank and soakaway)
- Extend the existing freshwater supply to the site.
