Rahmita got her bachelor degree in architecture at the University of Sumatra Utara in 2017 and worked as an architectural assistant in Medan, Indonesia. She just finished her Master’s degree in MA Architecture and Urbanism in Manchester School of Architecture.
Rahmita has a high passion for working within the humanitarian sector as her dissertation research on Development of Informal Urban Settlements in Indonesia and she received her Master’s degree with distinction level. She also had done several volunteer programmes as a teacher in Indonesia. She believes as an architect has a great influence to help people and provide them with adequate shelter for them to improve their life. She is also very interested in travelling and photography. She is currently working as a graphic designer and architectural assistant at Article 25.
