Josine joined Article 25 as Project Architect. She was born in Amsterdam and studied at the Technical University in Delft and the Architectural Association in London. Josine has worked in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Rome and London, where she gained experience in both the humanitarian architecture sector as well as in commercial international architecture studios. Josine was drawn to work at Article 25 because of her ambition to work for vulnerable communities, where good architecture and planning are most needed. She believes local capacity building is essential for the sustainability of these projects. Conversely, a lot can be learned from working with local communities on such incredibly inspiring projects.
