COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING STRATEGIST (VOLUNTEER)

Article 25 is a humanitarian architecture charity dedicated to building adequate dignified shelter as defined by the UN. We design and build homes, schools and hospitals in poverty stricken areas. We are looking for a Communications & Marketing Strategist to help us broaden our reach.
We are seeking a Communications and Marketing professional with experience in the charity sector. This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact on an international humanitarian charity. We are looking for someone to develop a communications and marketing strategy to help build awareness and meet fundraising goals.

Define our target audience, review existing digital communication channels and research new opportunities
Develop a marketing strategy, including understanding the marketplace, setting objectives, fine tuning messaging and positioning our brand
Work with our internal team to implement the marketing strategy and identify measurement tools to help analyse effectiveness and refine the strategy as needed to improve results
Mentor a junior communications assistant who will assist you in the role
5+ years of experience as a communications professional
Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing or other related field
Proficient with social media and knowledge of building brand awareness
Excellent written and communication skills
Able to produce high quality marketing content

This position is available for full time candidates for a minimum commitment of 6 months.
