Aissa joined Article 25 as an architectural assistant. She is currently working on the College Hampate Ba school project in Niger as well as on visualisations for several projects.
Born in Geneva from Guinean parents, she has always had a keen interest in international development which she pursued across several work experiences for the Red Cross and the UN.
Aissa is a graduate from the University of Bath. Alongside her studies, she has gained experience working for architectural firms in the UK and Switzerland. She was also able to continue engaging with her passion for humanitarian design through volunteering in the Calais refugee camp as well as on the construction of social houses in Costa Rica.
Aissa considers architecture to be a true catalyst for development. She particularly values community engagement through design. She believes in architecture which is true to the people they serve, carefully responding to cultural and environmental contexts.
