Meenakshi has a multidisciplinary education and experience in architecture, urban design, teaching, and research. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from M.S. University of Vadodara, India. She also holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable and Ecological Design from Kansas State University, USA and Master of Urban Design degree from University of Toronto, Canada.
Her interests lie in the theory and practice of sustainable design and development. Her current research at Article 25 focuses on developing the design guidelines for rural health centres in Myanmar aiming to support the development of Myanmar’s healthcare infrastructure system. She is also involved in the Yangon Hospital masterplan project, which will help to achieve a sustainable expansion of the campus taking into account the building’s heritage as well as providing adequate space for patients and staff.
