Article 25’s Baile has interesting ideas about how to stick to your New Year’s Resolutions.
We have been in 2015 for an entire working week now…how time flies! No doubt you’ve all made New Year resolutions: have a dry month, cycle or even run to work, give up coffee etc. If you’re anything like the Article 25 team initial enthusiasm is starting to fade.
However such resolutions often bring two sets of benefits. Not only are you losing weight, ridding your teeth of coffee stains and improving the health of your liver. In giving up some of life’s luxuries we suspect you are saving a fair amount of money. We ask you to consider donating some of it to Article 25. Knowing you’re helping protect Haitian children from dangerous school buildings might be the factor that stops you reaching for the corkscrew after a stressful day at work!
If your New Year’s resolutions are to get fitter perhaps signing up for one of our many challenge events will give you additional motivation with your training. Even if the knowledge you’re supporting our work doesn’t have you springing out of bed for a run the thought of the hassle of giving all the sponsorship money back will. If you’re not the running or cycling type perhaps a marathon yoga session is more your style.
There are lots of other ways you can get involved with Article 25 in 2015. We have lots of projects taking place and volunteers are always welcome. We’d appreciate any support you could give so please give it some thought!
