The Built Environment Action Register (BEAR) is for voluntary/professional experts available for field projects established and manged in house. The database is a resource maintained by Article 25 for the benefit of all (local or international) charities and NGOs in need of building-related professional services. The Student chapters are societies set up at universities around the country to discuss and raise awareness of the role of the built environment in development and disaster relief. This is achieved through events and a lecture series. Securing funds is a key part of any charitable organisation's duty. You can help by attending a fundraising event, or running one yourself. Perhaps run the Royal Parks Half Marathon with us. Call Lisa Dayanandan for ideas, information on our events, parties, fundraisers, treks and challenges for this year on 020 7375 0144. Join the thriving intiative hosted by the RIBA and stewarded by Article 25. The community is a chance to create immediate dialogue between the built environment and international development sectors. Share resources, start discussions, find precendents for projects, answer questions from the field... To be part of the online community and events series, follow the link above and click on 'Register' or contact Stephanie Johnston (020 7375 0144) for more information. Taking a break from everyday work can be personally rewarding and beneficial to your organisation. With the ever growing importance of corporate social responsibility, there has never been a better time to volunteer your expertise. Corporations or practices can support Article 25 in a number of ways including project participation, exposure, donations and regular or payroll giving. Hold a CPD day to find out all about our projects and inform your staff. Anyone can make a one off donation or be part of regular giving. Any amount large or small is much appreciated and vital for the continuation of our work. Challenge activities are a brilliant way to raise much needed funds while having a great life experience at the same time. We run events throughout the year consisting of both fund- and awareness- raising initiatives. You can be our guest at the House of Commons for Dinner each February, join the Presidents Dinner in June, buy art from the finest artists in the world at our biennial Art for Architecture Auction or hold your own party - call us or email Lisa. Our projects take place in many different environments and provide a rich range of cultures and landscapes. These are reflected in our collections of images taken on site and in the surrounding areas. Thank you to all of our Sponsors. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without you![ 8Build ] [ ADP ] [ AEDAS ] [ Bennetts Assoc ] [ CallPrint ] [ DLA Architecture ] [ DLA Piper ] [ Donald Insall Associates ] [ Feilden and Mawson ] [ Grimshaw Architects LLP ] [ RIBA Appointments ] [ SAS International ] [ SMC Group Plc ] [ Tower Surverys ] [ Wilkins Kennedy ] [ Wilkinson Eyre ] |
