"Article 25 welcomed several new members onto its design team in 2017. Bea Sennewald joined as Director of Projects and is joined in the London office by 2 new Project Architects: Toby Pear and Abul Mahdi. They are supported by a dedicated team of volunteer architectural assistants who spend 6 months working with us.As we start 2018, we are excited that 2 of our projects will shortly be completed: the clinic in Oujda, Morocco to treat children with cleft palates and the school in Petionville, Haiti to replace the one that was devastated in the 2010 earthquake.
Following the success of our first cycling expedition to research Regional Health Centres in Myanmar and raise funds for Article 25, we are also looking forward to publishing the research with the help of the expert cyclists. This will be a design guide made available to all organisations with an interest in healthcare facilities in Myanmar.
Along with all the other projects that are continuing and new ones on the horizon, I’m sure 2018 is going to be another busy year!"
