Article 25 used a bespoke evaluation process to assess the performance of theĀ IFRC’s (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies) and PRCS’s (Pakistan Red Crescent Society) reconstruction of 34 schools, colleges and health clinics.

The Afghan Ministry of Education, with the Danish International Development Agency, appointed Article 25 to carry out a review of school construction and educational infrastructure, to identify key strengths and weaknesses in the current school delivery programme.

Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, has been subject to years of war and devastation which has destroyed much of the traditional architecture and resulted in the loss of valuable Afghan heritage. Article 25 was approached by the Turquoise Mountain Foundation (TMF) to help survey, restore and conserve parts of Murad Khani, the medieval quarter of Kabul.
