Let Kids Smile, our partner for this project, consists of volunteers that in their way are trying to participate in helping the development of Africa. The children in Nkoranza receive help to enable them to make the most of their life without their family. They will grow up in a healthy environment, with love, care and chances to a good future.

[ Sollatek ]

The site of the new orphanage does not have electricity. However, the sun sets around 6pm so we needed to find a solution for the lighting. We had heard a range of positive feedback for solar lanterns, and so thought this could be a good option for use in the orphanage. We were lucky enough to come across the website of the company Sollatek, who donate 10 solar lanterns every month to worthy causes around the world. They call these lanterns 'Glowstar'.

We have now received four Glowstars, kindly donated by Sollatek.
