Article 25 University Chapters have been set up in a number of leading architectural departments in the UK.

Set up to facilitate a[25]'s advocacy work, the chapters, which are run by student representatives, are here to provide a platform for disseminating information about architecture in the development sector and the work of a[25] and all the eminent practitioners in the development and disaster relief space. We hope to inspire their future involvement in the sector with us and other NGOs. The Humanitarian Info Pack is part of this

This academic year (08-09) each chapter will be taking part in a trek or challenge in some of the most unique architectural regions of the world. Chapter members will be given the opportunity of documenting the local vernaculars of the region they visit, which will then be included in a new publication about vernacular architecture. It offers a great opportunity for students to show off their photography, drawing and writing talents but also engages students with first hand vernaculars.

If you think you might be intereseted in setting up an a[25] student chapter, just contact Caroline (caroline-lemaire@article-25.org) for more info.
